BEING AN EMPLOYER OF CHOICE

We are committed to offering long-term career prospects, supported by learning and development programs with the highest ethical standards, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

WE FOCUS ON SAFETY, EQUITY, DIVERSITY, AND INCLUSION BY SETTING CLEAR TARGETS:

• Zero preventable accidents in our workplace
• 40% of all Selecta positions and 40% of first-level leadership positions are held by women by 2024

This commitment is outlined in the Selecta Code of Conduct which was developed in 2021. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

In 2021, we deployed the mandatory ‘Needs Based Solutions Training’ commercial and solutions teams across all Selecta markets. For example, we completed 1.296 hours of NBS Training in Selecta Italy alone. Needs based solutions starts with our clients’ needs at the core of everything we do.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

To establish targets regarding the recruitment, retention, advancement, and representation of women among all Selecta markets, we focused on efforts to develop the 2021 Gender Baseline Assessment. The results illustrated that 29% of our total workforce consists of women. Additionally, we developed the Diversity and Inclusion working team and offer conscious inclusion trainings withing the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Program.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELLBEING

Across the group, we are working towards zero preventable accidents in the workplace. Our people are on the road every day and we want everyone to return home safely. Our Safe Home program — a three-year initiative, provides drivers with an online road safety and awareness training. Additionally, we support health and wellbeing of our associates through in-country initiatives consisting of get-togethers, off-site team-building activities, and paid volunteering days.

COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

We actively support the communities in the countries where we operate. We do this with community projects and initiatives that range from charity projects to programs aimed at social inclusion. For instance, in the United Kingdom, we partnered with the Foodbank of Dens — a non-profit organization that serves as the first port of call for people in Dacorum, facing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion.
